First Part, will show more in depth information how to build a fullsize multi-touch table and cover topics like: lens calibration, infrared tracking, lenses and optical filters, different camera models advantages/disadvantages, different lightning techniques like DI, DSI FTIR, using multi-camera setups and stitching to build much larger touch areas, using tuio send tracking data out to vvvv/flash/processing etc., fiducial marker tracking. Alex from Rexgo kindly lend us his FTIR Setup so we have a bigger Table (80cm*100cm) to try things out.
Second part, will be a very quick basic introduction into the vvvv toolkit and how to use the GUI, for poeple who doesn't allready now it.
In the third part, we try to patch some basic multi-touch/multi-user interactions in vvvv: buttons, sliders, pinch/scale gestures, drag items around, using fiducial markers for tangible computing. I will provide some ready made patches, for the more complictaed stuff, as the topic can get fairly complex. I will also talk a bit about user interface design problems which I faced in past project, and how we "solved" them.
