前几次农耕迷你工作坊发的苗已经到可以移植的大小了，准备了一个简易的水耕菜盆。

菜盆是从淘宝上拍下的，尺寸够大，而且还有底网，非常的实惠。

把气泡石条固定在底网的地下，感谢Rocket的简易，把出气面朝下，这样可以有效的避免水里面的杂质阻塞气石。

切了一小段的PVC管，做为水深度的指标，固定在底网上。

用另外一段的PVC管子来保护气管不被陶粒挤压。

菜盆这样就准备好了。

先放把大的陶粒，最后2CM放小的陶粒，最上面小的陶粒的主要用途是固定植物，和防止阳光的热和光传到营养液中，造成营养液温度太高以及绿藻成长。

混合了15升的营养液，把一些黄瓜，向日葵移植到水耕菜盆里面，打开气泵。

制作后的感想，建议大家制作的时候，先把大的陶粒放到营养液里面，打开气泵，盖上盖子24小时后，让大的陶粒充分吸收水分，沉淀到底部，再铺上小的陶粒。不然陶粒会在移植的时候漂浮到表面上。

今天第一届迷你工作坊顺利举行。都市农耕队的工头李大维带领大家动手种下了好多蔬菜种子，并介绍了椰糠等不同的栽培介质。下周六我们将继续无土栽培的主题，教你做简易小型可以放在窗户边的水耕箱。有兴趣的会员记得来参加。

this is the 3rd week after oregano cutting been transplanted into small pots with 4 different mediums and was surprised to find out those in vermiculite/‎蛭石 grow generally better (light blue pot) than the rest; especially there are 2 out of 5 died in soil base – with 24/7 lights on, water in soil base probably be dried out faster than vermiculite, coconut peat and perlite. 三周后的牛至幼苗在各自培养介质中均有良好的成长趋势；另人意外的是，在蛭石中，牛至的生长高度和强壮度是整体最好的。其次分别是椰糠，珍珠岩，再者是传统的培养土 – 猜测可能是因为在24小时持续的外加光照条件下，培养土中的水分流失比较严重。

6月中旬时，共20株牛至幼苗被移植入4种培养介质中，包括培养土x5，椰糠x5，蛭石x5，以及珍珠岩x5。2周后的今天，所有幼苗都存活；同时椰糠及蛭石中的牛至长势相对良好。

上周末，4支荧光灯(共216瓦)按照到位，用以提供24小时持续光照。另外，2.5瓦的小电扇也可随时使用，用来增加空气流通，给植物创造良好生长环境。稍后计时器将调试完毕，届时每天将保证有18个小时的充足光照和换气。

After another one week, we got pretty good seedling with strong roots; transplant was completed this evening with great support from Roger.

instead of traditional seedling from seeds, we are trying to grow roots in water and coconut peat bases from fresh oregano plant (stems with leaves). after 1 week, more than 50% oregano has grown its own roots.

finding:

– oregano grows taller with more leaves in coconut peat than in water,but with less and smaller roots

– in the same water base, oregano grows more and roots with lightening compares to those under sunlight.
