XinCheJian Membership
Why become a member of XinCheJian?
* An international online and offline community full of opportunities and help to enrich yourself;
* Visibility for you, your skills and your projects;
* Use of the mechanical tools, electronics tools and Internet access in the space;
* Plenty of work space and storage space in a safe work environment;
* Free participation to XinCheJian interest groups, events, hosted talks, conferences;
Membership types:
* Basic membership: 100 RMB per person per month (use of the space and tools during opening hours)
Addons
* 200 RMB more for a space to store 50x50x50 CM box
Other ways to help the community:
* Event space rental: 500 RMB per hour
* Get started: 300 RMB Arduino Uno Starter Kit (with servo, infrared sensor, breadboard, …);
* Same rate as per person for multi-person teams participating in competitions for XinCheJian.
No Money? No problem!
Get monthly membership equivalents by volunteering in building the XinCheJian community:
* Raise money from teaching classes or organizing workshops for non-members;
* Find company sponsorships for XinCheJian or win prizes for XinCheJian in competitions;
* Provide professional services (media production, admin support, translation, offering classes and workshops, technical support…);
* Donate tools, hardware, software, furniture, etc.
XinCheJian reserves the right to refuse or reimburse contributions to members that don’t abide by the rules, don’t contribute to the community, for which projects are incompatible with the goals of XinCheJian. NoiseBridge San Francisco Hackerspace has one rule: “Be excellent to each other”.
